These terms govern your use of mysite-name's fitness club facilities and services across England. Please read them carefully before joining to ensure a clear understanding of our club operations, member responsibilities, and facility usage guidelines.
1. Membership Agreement
By joining our fitness club-whether through standard membership, class packages, or personal training-you agree to these terms. Our fitness services operate in compliance with relevant UK health and safety regulations and industry standards.
We provide professional fitness facilities through our qualified staff and maintained equipment across England.
2. Service Scope and Facility Standards
Our services include gym access, fitness classes, personal training, and facility amenities. We focus on providing quality fitness environments using properly maintained equipment and professional instruction.
While we maintain facilities to industry standards, individual fitness results depend on various factors including consistency, effort, and personal circumstances. We provide supportive environments and professional guidance to help you pursue your objectives.
3. Member Responsibilities
To ensure safe and enjoyable club experiences, members agree to:
- Complete health declarations accurately and update when circumstances change
- Follow equipment instructions and staff guidance at all times
- Use towels and wipe down equipment after use
- Respect other members and maintain appropriate conduct
- Store personal belongings in provided lockers
- Report any equipment issues or safety concerns immediately
Responsible conduct and hygiene practices help maintain quality environments for all members.
4. Health and Safety
Members must disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or health concerns that may affect their ability to exercise safely. While our staff provide guidance, members are responsible for exercising within their capabilities and seeking medical advice when appropriate.
We reserve the right to suspend access if undisclosed health conditions pose significant safety risks during exercise.
5. Membership Types and Payment
Membership fees are as published and payable according to the selected payment schedule. Direct debit memberships require 30 days' notice for cancellation. Failed payments may result in membership suspension and administration charges.

6. Access and Guest Policy
Club access is permitted during published opening hours using assigned entry methods. Guest passes are available according to membership type, with guests required to complete registration and health declarations before facility use.
We reserve the right to refuse entry or request identification to verify membership status at any time.
7. Class Bookings and Cancellations
Fitness classes can be booked up to 7 days in advance through our online system. Late cancellations (within 4 hours of class start) may incur charges for premium classes. Repeated late cancellations may affect future booking privileges.
Class schedules and instructor assignments are subject to change with reasonable notice provided to members.
8. Facility Usage and Equipment
Equipment must be used for its intended purpose and returned to designated storage areas after use. Members should allow others to work in during busy periods and respect time limits on cardiovascular equipment.
Personal training by non-qualified individuals is strictly prohibited within club facilities.
9. Membership Freeze and Cancellation
Membership freezes are available for medical reasons or extended travel, typically up to 3 months per year with supporting documentation. Cancellations require 30 days' written notice for direct debit memberships.
Joining fees and administration charges are non-refundable once membership services have been accessed.
10. Age Restrictions and Children
Main club access is restricted to members aged 16 and above. Young persons aged 14-15 may access specific areas under parental supervision during designated hours. Child minding services may be available subject to separate terms and availability.
Proof of age may be requested, with access refused if age requirements are not met.
11. Property and Liability
Personal property brought into the club remains the member's responsibility at all times. We provide lockers but cannot accept liability for lost or stolen items. Members use facilities and equipment at their own risk, with instruction provided for safe usage.
We maintain appropriate public liability insurance but recommend members secure personal property insurance.
12. Conduct and Exclusion
We maintain the right to suspend or terminate membership for inappropriate conduct, including harassment of other members, misuse of equipment, or violation of club rules. Serious breaches may result in immediate termination without refund.
Repeated complaints about member behaviour will be investigated and may lead to membership review.
13. Facility Maintenance and Closures
Scheduled maintenance and occasional facility closures may occur with reasonable notice provided. Emergency closures or essential maintenance may happen without notice, with membership fees adjusted accordingly for extended closures.
Temporary service reductions do not constitute grounds for membership cancellation without penalty.
14. Terms Modification
We reserve the right to update these terms periodically to reflect changes in our services, UK regulations, or industry practices. The current terms are always available on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
